Una parte del tempo-telescopio a disposizione viene dedicato al monitoraggio di stelle variabili periodiche, per la determinazione degli istanti di massimo e di minimo.<\/p>\n<p>Per queste attivit\u00e0 viene utilizzato lo strumento principale dell&#8217;Osservatorio (Ritchey-Chretien da 40 cm di diametro), con una camera ccd SBIG ST9E, e un set di filtri fotometrici (U,B,V,R,I).<\/p>\n<p>Tra i risultati conseguiti finora \u00e8 da segnalare la scoperta di una nuova stella variabile. La sigla <span class=\"desig\">identificativa che le \u00e8 stata attribuita \u00e8 VSX J185008.9+110510.
